Rick Tamblyn's resume reads like something most actors can only dream about: The American Film Institute; Lee Strasburg's Workshops; USC School of Film; Royal Academy of the Arts; Rick has eaten in almost all of their cafeterias. And only the biggest names in Hollywood: Scorcese; Lucas; Coppola; Spielberg; Levinson; these are just a few of the directors that Rick plans on working with, as soon as they return his calls. Rick has enjoyed a featured starring role on America's Funniest Police Chases, and recently played 'Belligerent Man Without Shirt' on Cops.

Rick is often referred to as 'actor most responsible for the Patriot Act.' After applying for his radio operator's license, FCC authorities banned him from even owning a radio. Rick later worked on the Dukakis Presidential Campaign in 1988. Dukakis later said of Rick, 'why I let him talk me into taking my shirt off during a campaign stop in Pennsylvania, I'll never know.'

Rick Tamblyn started doing strange voices as a child when hs parents let him listen to their old radio theatre albums. After imitating voices he heard on those albums, he knew he wanted to be on the radio in some form. He started out as a part-time announcer on weekends, went to hosting radio morning shows, was a game show host for 6 years on TV, and even became an adjunct professor at UMKC, teaching a Radio/TV Performance class.
